President's Message April 2008

Our Falcon Club of America continues to grow, adding new Chapters each year, the latest being the Western Pennsylvania Chapter.   Our Chapter Coordinator Mary Wagner is the person who helps the new Chapters get started, with the help of the Regional Director.  Please join me in thanking the Chapter Coordinator and Regional Directors for their hard work and dedication to the Falcon Club of America.

I recently spoke with the National Convention Coordinator, Mark Sword, and he tells me everything is moving along with plans for the National Meet in Springfield, Missouri.  This should be a fun filled weekend for everyone with all the planned activities.  Hopefully everyone has pre-registered for the event and made hotel reservations.  This really helps the hosting chapters plan ahead and makes for a well coordinated meet for everyone.

The Keystone Chapter will be hosting the 14th Keystone Regional Meet in Bethel, Pennsylvania in May.  Our Falcon Friends in the Keystone Chapter always host a great event.  We hope to see you there.

Check the calendar of events in this issue for other Regional Meets coming up, including, the first Regional hosted by the Metro Detroit Chapter in August, the Northeast Chapter Regional, also in August, and the Carolinas Chapter Regional Meet in September.  Hopefully, one of these meets is close enough for your part of the country to attend.

Remember, "Take a kid to a car show", or as Bob Marquardt would say, "Give a kid a ride".
