Hello Falcon Club of America! My name is Wayne Hanson
(FCA #12718), and I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I am so
excited to be a member of this club. I am new to all of this
car collector stuff. For a good year and a half I searched
and searched for something other than a Mustang. (No
offense, Mustang owners). I stumbled upon this Falcon over
the internet. The car was located in North St. Paul,
Minnesota, which just so happens to be 300 miles away from
my hometown of Kenosha. It is a 1964 Falcon Futura sedan
with a 302 cu.in. engine with 351 heads and bored 0.40 over.
It also came with a 9" rear end. Everything I was looking
for in a Ford without paying the "Mustang" price.
The cover picture is down by Lake Michigan. You can see
Kenosha’s lighthouse in the background. What you can’t see
is my daughter Faith and her girlfriend hiding down in the
back seat so they do not get into the picture. My daughter
and her friends like to ride in the back seat and wave at
everyone when we drive by them. I can’t believe I belong to
the Falcon Club of America, when just two years ago I didn’t
even know about the Ford Falcon. I am so proud to be a
member.

Question:
"Do you like the recent design changes in
The National Falcon News?"
Answers:
1. Design changes? Doesn’t look any different to me.
2. Yes, the horizontal cover really works.
3. It’s weird to have the cover be horizontal and the rest of the
magazine vertical…
4. I think the whole magazine should be horizontal.
5. Leave it alone, don’t change anything.
6. Change everything!
Thanks for your input! This is your magazine. All
submissions by FCA members are greatly appreciated and please
provide your FCA number. We want to make your Falcons look their
best!
Email the Editor with your answer
here. Be sure to provide your FCA # in your email. Thanks !!
